Dinner Party Table
This dining room table was inspired by a mash up of farmhouse and industrial designs. Built using a soft wood, the table top takes on character with usage through the years and tells a story as time goes on.
-
This table is perfect for those that like to host dinner parties or game nights. Measuring in at a massive 9ft long by 4ft wide, it features a weighty wide-plank top with true breadboard ends and a durable polyacrylic finish.
-
The legs are made of black iron piping and allow for enough leg room to comfortably seat up to 10.
-
Cell Phone Stand
A multi-functional piece, designed to look just a good on the shelf when not in use as when it is in use.
-
This stand has a widened slot that holds a phone at the perfect angle for a hands free experience whether reading a recipe in the kitchen or watching videos. It also features a hidden channel for a phone charger.
-
The stand includes a secondary channel that amplifies the speaker volume for a better experience when listening to music.
-
Built In Library
These shelves were designed to blend seamlessly into the surroundings while simultaneously making the things being displayed really pop.
-
The built ins feature four bays of shelves as well as four deep double-door cabinets, perfect for storing favorite boardgames, craft supplies, or even classic DVD collections.
-
With a durable flat-black finish inside the shelves, it draws the eye in and makes the colors of whatever is being displayed seem more vibrant.

The Banjo
This one’s close to my heart and brings back childhood memories of Saturday morning drives with my dad, listening to Bluegrass while on the hunt for classic car parts. This was a fun one to build and I really took to heart the concept of “upcycling” for this design.
This banjo is a traditional design, 5 string open-back banjo. The neck is made from Ash with a Purple Heart fingerboard, tuning pegs, and bridge. The body or “pot” is made from Cherry, cut from a limb out of my own back yard.

-
It includes a natural head giving it a warm sound. The Tailpiece is part of an oil pump out of one of my first cars.
The case was created from a very old barn beam heading for the burn pile, with a walnut handle and neck stand, and a black velvet liner. It also features a cigar box on the inside to hold finger picks, capos, extra strings and other odds ‘n’ ends.

Cutting Board
Strong enough to handle the sharpest knife yet beautiful enough to display the finest charcuterie. This is a kitchen countertop essential.
-
This end grain cutting board is made of Walnut in a brick lay pattern which perfectly shows off the contrast between the heart and sap woods. It also features handholds on either side for easy transport.
-
Finished with a food-grade butcher block oil finish, consisting of genuine beeswax, Brazilian carnauba wax, and food grade mineral oil.
-
Sliding Barn Door
This entry into the master bath measures 48” and a typical door just wouldn’t work in this space.
-
The solution? A sliding barn door. This door is quite heavy yet surprisingly agile, and provides the privacy needed for this room.
-
This door is made from solid wood and given a weathered and slightly distressed finish.
-
Coffee Bar Shelves
A simple yet effective solution for extra storage space. In this case a place to display favorite cookbooks, fresh fruit, and an eclectic mix of coffee mugs and accoutrements.
-
-
Made from solid pine boards, finished in a satin walnut, and held up with black-iron pipes gives this a minimalistic industrial feel.
-
Paper Table Lamp
This table lamp piece was inspired by an unusual paring of Japanese paper lanterns and timber frame structures.
-
The simple geometric frame shapes and heavy solid walnut base give the piece a weighty presence and contrast against a delicate tissue paper shade providing an airiness.
-
The beauty of this piece is its delicacy. In the case of the tissue paper being torn it can be recovered directly overtop the original paper, therefore creating a new lighting experience overtime.
-
Antique Side Table
This is a true antique and a great example of something that was made to last and worth keeping around. Originally built as a sewing table, this has been converted into a fantastic side table for the home library.
-
The top was stripped back to its original wood and finished with mineral oil to bring out the warmth of this antique wood.
-
The base was finished in a clean white with golden accents to help modernize this classic piece of furniture.
-
Crane Lamp
This floor lamp was inspired by skyscraper tower cranes. The jib of this lamp stretches a full 5 feet and can articulate up and down 18 inches. It was built with solid wood, finished in satin walnut, and placed on a solid concrete base.
-
Walnut Floating Coat Rack
This was an exercise of practical upcycling. This coat/hat rack was destined for the burn pile but was saved and turned into a simple yet effective floating shelf. It was made from solid walnut and can hold up to 8 heavy winter coats while providing a ledge just big enough to house your sunglasses above.
-
Live Edge Mantel
This fireplace surround was very traditional and didn’t fit in with the chosen décor of the rest of the room. A live-edge slab was added to the mantel to make it feel a little more casual and add some weight to the space. The dark Finish also contrasts nicely against white wall and helps to tie in the fireplace and TV.
-
Pinecone
Not everything has to be made of wood! But this is a pinecone so it’s in the same ballpark (or should I say forest?). This is an ink drawing and a small representation of other pieces of art that will be added to site in the future.
-
Three Tier Side Table
This side table is quite heavy, both visually and physically speaking. The design ties together a stark contrast of simple geometric planes with the natural texture of solid tree limbs. This table was finished in semi-gloss dark ebony.
